RESIDENTIAL
Nordic interior was known throughout the world for simplicity and functionality. The brief was to design a simple and translucent space into a cozy home, with the right colours, shapes and raw materials.
The furnishings in living space are light and neutral. A light filled space can easily lifts one’s mood and have the welcoming vibe. A touch of gold and soft sage green were added in the palette to create earthy elegance and more life into the space. Glassed screen was intentionally design to illuminate the space in bathroom.
Details that most capture the aesthetic sensibility of the whole space was the arches design, it defines ‘Sculpture within Structure’. Curved walls and archway staircase soften the geometric lines, while the arch shape brick wall creates a textured finishes and pair beautifully with the ceiling. Raw timber and terrazo flooring were selected into the space, reassuring the connection with nature. Simply Nordic was inspired by keeping the design original and minimal, but interesting to the eyes.
